Recently back from a stay in Limpias, we were fortunate enough to go to La Tienduca twice during our stay.
The food was absolutely superb, the staff were really friendly and helpful especially with our lack of Spanish, and the atmosphere was great. Saw the same local people both times so clearly it is a popular spot.
The menu was varied and interesting, with traditional dishes alongside Al a carte dishes too. The fish and chips were the best, so light and crispy!
Highly recommend for anyone staying in Cantabria to go there!!- Comida

Brilliant little Tapas bar in Limpias. Cheap n cheerful. Family friendly. I had fish n chips, the fish being just as good as places in England. PS. the HP Sauce was my own contribution!

It was a small place with a very small kitchen hence they weren't able to accommodate main dishes for us. In any case, we were very happy with the pizza and hamburger. Desserts were a treat. Their cheesecake is chef kiss. The lady who waited on us was super nice. Very professional. We will come back again without hesitation. Please go check this place out. Stop what you are doing and go to this place ASAP. The menu is a combination of local and global inspired fare executed to absolute perfection. We started with a tomato salad with huge juicy beefsteak tomatoes seasoned to perfection then a pulled pork burger to rival any pulled pork sandwich in the USA and the best fish and chips we’ve ever had with flaky, fresh cod again crisped to perfection. We also had one of their pinsas which are flat bread pizzas that come with all sorta of flavors that they cook in a OONI pizza oven adjacent to the bar. We washed it all down with a delicious Ribera. Portions are huge so we were promoted not to over order which was much appreciated. All desserts are also homemade and also 10/10.
A MUST visit when you are in Limpias or within a 25 mile radius. Atmosphere is very low key which adds to the charm.- Kid-friendliness

Although we don’t speak Spanish, the two guys there were brilliant and helped us order a great meal. We had burgers and pinsa (pizza) which tasted amazing. The food and service was excellent and I recommend coming here!!!

This is a very small, local bar which makes fabulous pizzas. And albondigas. And croquettes. Not to mention the best battered fish that I've had in 20 years. The owner soaks salt cod before dipping it in fabby batter and frying it to perfection. 2 beers, 4 large meals and 2 bottles of wine for €60! Unbelievable and we had a good laugh with the owner and the locals. We had a great time.

It's a very small restaurant with about 20 seats spread across the ground floor and first floor. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. A funny feature is the poster for a 1987 Feyenoord stadium concert. The three-person crew works together. The hostess is welcoming and takes the time to explain the day's specials. We decide on a mix of patatas babas, fried eggplant, and beef cheek. The accompanying crianza is good. It's clear that the pinsa is the most popular dish. They don't have coffee, but the lady offers a nice solution: coffee liqueur with a kind of milk liqueur. The mix works perfectly. It's a pleasant experience here in a historic location.

Dinner at La Tienduca was an exceptional experience. Four of us were training in the area, and the choice couldn't have been better. We started dinner with croquettes and torreznos, which were spectacular. The pinsa, a delicious pizza variant, won our hearts with its unique flavor.
